I know it's early for Christmas, but my school holidays are a good time to get my craft on. Even though recycling is great, I'm also a big fan of upcycling. My Grandma gave me her massive button collection when she moved into a nursing home and since then I have made crosses, wall decorations for kids, jewellery and not ball balls with the buttons. The ribbon on this ball ball was also upcycled from a gift set I received. I always recycle ribbon for other gifts and purposes.
