Microplastics

Did you know that every synthetic piece of clothing that you own, when you wash it, releases microplastics into the ocean? Now, if you are anything like me, synthetic clothing is a blessing because it means that you don't have to iron. I am slowly trying to make my wardrobe more cotton/bamboo than polyester. But I really like my work clothes that don't require ironing. Not to mention bras.....So, I heard about this awesome microfibre catching laundry bag. Super spacious and fits lots of clothing. Still washes everything well. And it catches the microplastics at the same time so that they can go into landfill and not the ocean. I am thinking of putting the microplastics in a jar or container until I have a lot before disposing of them.
