Conference culture

Several weeks ago I was at a conference, which is quite normal for me. I was frustrated by the amount of single use plastics and waste that was created at the conference. All of the food was single use plastic, we were given heaps of publication material from venders without asking if we wanted it which ended in the bin, I felt that there was little that I could control.
